Japan’s Healthcare
Business Opportunities in Japan’s Healthcare Market
Australia-Japan Co-operation Initiative
The Australia-Japan Business Co-operation Committee (AJBCC) was established in 1962 to foster closer economic links between companies in both countries. Originally, this was centred on the resources and foodstuffs sector, as the trade in these commodities burgeoned. In recent years, however, the AJBCC has established a number of initiatives to promote and cultivate the environment for business opportunities in the services segment.
On Wednesday, 31 August in Melbourne and Friday, 2 September 2011 in Sydney, a seminar will be held featuring visiting Japanese experts from the healthcare sector. The seminar will be complimentary, but RSVP is required. Download the seminar flyer here.
The purpose of the seminar is to assist companies uncover business opportunities in the sector, both in Japan and with Japanese companies. There will be an overview of:
-
the composition of Japan’s healthcare market, covering the hospital, aged care, diagnostic, and ancillary services areas;
-
the Government of Japan’s health policy, insurance and attitude to current issues; and
